Why Qaloun?
While the Hafs reading has abundant digital resources, the Qaloun reading remains virtually absent online. It is the predominant reading in Tunisia and parts of Libya and Yemen. We aim to fill this gap.
Artificial Intelligence for the Qaloun Reading
Just as such tools already exist for the Hafs reading, we are developing an artificial intelligence capable of detecting recitation errors in the Qaloun reading of Nafi'. This model is trained using voice recordings donated anonymously by volunteers on our contribution page, with their full consent.
